The current Primals won't exist after 2.0, , Also the above example is always gonna be a problem unless we get more WHMs as of now we have like 4? Even a point system wouldn't help that because, for example, A piece of WHM gear dropped and we only had one WHM with us the gear would obviously go to them. Then if another piece dropped for their other job and they had points to lock that item they would get two pieces, in that case other members would feel cheated if you told the WHM they weren't allowed to they would feel cheated theres no winning that scenario unfortunately

better option i think would be ppl should say what they want as main class and second class
so loot should be MAIN class > OFF class > REST… (with discussion if needed, if it can be helpfull like … lets say for ppl that have to play sometime a class that help to do event, but they do not want it as main or off class)
Attendence to that Event is above attendence to lots of events, would be fair. But as of now the way the game is makes that hard. stupid drop rates. This froum post is not for just now, it is meant as guideline, of sorts, for loot now and after 2.0.

This is what i meant. The part about jobs use in that event, was not meant to trump all.
obviously rules would be in place to stop that dragon.
such as: 1 item per event per player unless the other 7 potentials involved have no problem with it.
example: say we do a aurum vale run with both shad and me within it, we both like PLD most, we get the speed chest, heavy darklight legs drop, as PLD tank I would get the priority, yet say we do a 2nd run and another piece of heavy darklight drops, chest for example, shad would get priority on it, even if i did do the tanking on the 2nd run too. rules can be made very simple for everyone to be catered too. additionally keep in mind, the people who play more do deserve right to more gear than others, its just how mmo's work.
Otherwise its like saying in a company: said person has 4yrs experience there, a new guy has been there a year, does the same job and gets the promotion over the more experienced guy, it just doesnt happen. you cater to who is valued most/does the most, or they will just leave and go somewhere else who will provide for their efforts.
Thats not what I meant. If the WHM got the first piece not out of choice but only cos there was no where else for it to go then the piece they wanted afterward dropped. It would be unfair to both parties since the WHM only got the first piece cos no-one else needed it but also other people who want the second drop will get nothing if the WHM gets priority on that
Yes but people dont want to do loads of events, miss out on drops, to just be allowed to 'roll' on a item. But the way the drops are, right now, could mean that it would drop after 100 runs and the player, that did most got the item, and the next who needs it might not see it for another 100 only to loose it once again to a 'high priority' member.
